Trump Watch Daily Digest – Day 11

Alex Mohajer

Your daily update of pertinent #Resistance news, information, and resources.

Two major blows are set to come forth from Donald Trump this week in the never-ending circus that is his first 100 days. Tomorrow at 8:00 pm EST, Trump’s SCOTUS pick will make national headlines. And in the next couple days, a drastic anti-LGBT measure. Let’s review:

Tomorrow, Donald will announce his pick for the vacant Supreme Court justice seat that has been vacant for over a year now. President Barack Obama’s nominee, Merrick Garland, was successfully blocked for an entire year by an obstinate Republican party, and the pick is sure to be explosive.

Democrats have promised to filibuster the nominee. AS WELL THEY SHOULD!

NOTE: as we have witnessed now with many of Trump’s explosive or controversial announcements, is that they are often times a successful diversionary tactic meant to distract us from something more sinister, and usually behind cl0sed doors. When the immigration ban had Americans swept up in a national outcry this past weekend, Donald Trump quietly reassembled the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the National Security Council to implement Steve Bannon.

  • Trial Balloon for a Coup,” went viral today on Medium and is a fascinating look at the Trump Administration’s timing and execution of the “Muslim Ban” this past weekend and what this executive order says about Donald’s intentions and goals while in the White House.

It is now all-but-certain that Donald is expected to sign into law an executive order in the next day or two that is dramatically harmful to the LGBTQIA community. Brace yourselves for a swift, and rapid response. Donald Trump has no idea the sheer organizing and political power of the LGBT community and we expect that they will not disappoint.
