Senate Votes to Confirm Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) to Head of Department of Health & Human Services

Another controversial administration cabinet post nominee has cleared their Senate Confirmation Hearings and been confirmed to their post. Last night, Representative Tom Price (R-Ga) was confirmed to his new cabinet post as Head of Health and Human Services, joining newly confirmed Rex Tillerson (Secretary of State), Betsy DeVos (Department of Education) and Jeff Sessions (Attorney General) to complete a horrifying cabinet of atrocities.

Representative Price and the other GOP extremists who have been confirmed were previously examined fully by Bros4Hillary, in our piece “Trump’s Cabinet of Deplorables: A Comprehensive Guide.”

Price’s confirmation proves troublesome as he has been a leading voice in the fight to repeal ObamaCare. He has also been a driving force behind voucherizing Medicare and defunding Planned Parenthood. The Democratic National Committee called Representative Price one of Donald Trump’s “most dangerous” cabinet picks.

Individuals in concerned and interested in donating to the resistance may give to the Democratic National Committee directly here.
