MARCH 7th ELECTION!

On March 7, 2017, Los Angeles residents will vote in their local and city government elections. Of course, Los Angeles is one of the biggest government institutions in the entire United States.

The deadline to register is February 22. .

Please remember these important Bros4America endorsements:

  • Measure H – YES: Fight the growing problem of homelessness in Los Angeles county, which disproportionately impacts LGBT youth, by increasing the sales tax just one-fourth of a cent. Measure H will help fund mental health services, substance abuse treatment, health care, education, job training, affordable housing and much more.Measure S – NO: The measure would ban future housing and building initiatives in the city of Los Angeles at a time when the city is facing a growing affordability crisis. LGBT people, from youth to seniors, experience disproportionate poverty and without affordable housing, many are left homeless; voting NO on Measure S will block this ban

MARCH 12th – MY YEAR WITH HILLARY: AN EVENING WITH ALEX MOHAJER

  • In 2016, Alex Mohajer had the nerve to support Hillary Clinton for president and help lead a little group called Bros4Hillary. Little did he know that by 2017 he would become the most widely shared and controversial political writers at The Huffington Post, named one of America’s 100 Most Eligible Bachelors by OUT Magazine, or become enemy #1 of the alt-right?  On the eve of his 32nd birthday, writer/actor/singer/lawyer/political commentator/diva Alex Mohajer returns to the Rockwell Table and Stage for “My Year With Hillary,” his first solo cabaret performance in over a yearm ecalling funny, heart-warming, and heart-breaking moments along the campaign trail, responding to his harshest critics, and offering some of the insight and lessons learned after a tumultous election.

Named one of OUT Magazine's 100 Most Eligible Bachelors of 2017, Alex Mohajer is a controversial up-and-coming political writer and commentator whose unapologetic post-election commentary made him one of the most shared contributors at The Huffington Post. He is the first journalist in America to openly impugn the presidency of Donald Trump in a major publication. Mohajer is the Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Bros4America (formerly Bros4Hillary), a progressive advocacy organization that gained national recognition during the 2016 presidential election for its efforts to elect Hillary Clinton. Named by LGBTQ Nation to their Top 8 People Working to Elect Hillary Clinton. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts from U.C. Berkeley where he studied politics with progressive champion Robert Reich, and a Juris Doctorate from Chapman University School of Law, where he studied constitutional law with conservative hero Hugh Hewitt.
