Devastating: Trump’s top pick for health sec. is homophobic, anti-gay nutjob

Alex Mohajer

Among Rep. Tom Price’s greatest hits: blaming Hurricane Sandy on marriage equality, an established record of pro-life attacks on women’s reproductive rights, vowing to repealing Obamacare, and his extremely vocal anti-LGBT rhetoric.

Rep. Price, a Republican representing the state of Georgia, is as controversial a hard-liner against women and gay rights as they come. The Human Rights Campaign gave Price a rating of 0%, making him one of very few among the annals of history to earn that distinction. The rating is altogether unsurprising given Price’s support of such causes as a constitutional amendment overturning the decision in the Supreme Court’s marriage equality case.

The Human Rights Campaign, bracing itself for an anti-LGBT impact left in the wake of Trump’s alleged electoral college victory in the 2016 presidential election, released this a helpful yet nerve-wracking guide of resources for the LGBT community in a time of need.

Fortunately, history has shown us that for anti-gay Republicans like Rep. Price, it tends to get better.

I’m starting to think he’s playing some weird cruel joke, picking every homophobic, racist, and misogynist. Pence is a pretty good start, super anti-gay who once wrote employers, urging them NOT to hire gays. Believes in conversion therapy Sessions- he was previously denied a position because he was too racist, rumored he hasn’t changed. Also very against Marijuana, now that we are finally starting to help health problems that had found no other relief . He sounds like one of those 1950’s idiots screaming about “The Devil’s Weed” and “The Why so many anti-gay? If Trump has a problem being associated with alt-right he sure has a funny way of showing it. He thinks everyone other than himself stupid. Bannon was under suspicion to start with, though Trump thinks he has an innocent explanation. He thinks everyone other than himself stupid. Please show us a miracle! We need a full-time President, not one running up transportation and security bills going back and forth. Step aside if you truly love your country Trump. Go run those businesses you just can’t let go of. Besides, you yourself said the thrill was in the taking, but then you grew tired of it, something to that general effect.
